What does the Community Council do?

Ballifeary Community Council exists to represent and express the views of the area we serve, and to respond to planning and licensing applications.

We discuss a wide range of issues concerning our area, incliding progress on the construction of the West Link, crime rates, parking, and environment concerns.

Highland Council consults with Ballifeary Community Council on planning applications in our area. The local authority allows 14 days to provide comments. Highland Council also notifies Ballifeary CC of any licencing applications, allowing 21 days for a response, either in support or objection - or for conditional acceptance/modifications.

We have a small budget, for support of local causes.
